We collect one thing from you: what you type into the contact form. We use it to reply to you, and (only if you tick the box) to send you occasional emails. We count visits ourselves, on this site's own server, with no cookies and no third parties, and we don't sell or rent your details to anyone. You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. The rest of this page is the detail.

Who we are

This website, iditmoshe.com, is operated by Idit Moshe ("we", "us", "Idit"), and we control the information collected through it.

For anything on this page, email us at idit@iditmoshe.com

What information we collect

What you send us through the contact form. Your name, email address, telephone number (optional), the track you selected, and whatever you write in the message box. We also record which language version of the site you used, the page you sent it from, the date and time, and whether you ticked the mailing-list box.

Technical information, automatically. Our hosting provider records standard technical data on every visit: your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is how any website works, and it is used to deliver the pages to you and to protect the site from attacks and abuse. We do not use it to identify you and we don't combine it with anything else.

A note on the form's hidden field. The contact form contains a hidden field designed to catch automated spam. If it is filled in, the submission is discarded immediately and nothing is stored.

What we don't collect. We have no third-party analytics, no advertising pixels, no tracking cookies, no social-media trackers, and no third-party fonts. We do not build a profile of you, and nothing on this site follows you to other websites. We do count visits, on our own server and without cookies; the full explanation is under "Cookies and tracking" below.

You are not obliged to give us anything

You are under no legal obligation to provide any of this information. You give it voluntarily, of your own free will, when you choose to contact us.

If you choose not to, or you give us details that aren't accurate, the only consequence is that we won't be able to reply to you or arrange a conversation. Nothing else on the site depends on it.

Why we use your information

  1. To reply to you and arrange an introductory conversation. This is the whole reason the form exists.
  2. To keep a record of enquiries, so that if you come back to us months later we know what we discussed.
  3. To send you emails you asked for, but only if you actively opted in. See below.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling, or any purpose you would not expect from the list above.

The mailing list

If, and only if, you tick the box on the contact form, we will add you to our mailing list and send you occasional emails about workshops, articles, and events.

The box is not ticked by default, and ticking it is never a condition of contacting us. You can enquire about working together without joining the list.

Every email we send will identify itself as an advertisement where the law requires, name us as the sender, and carry a one-click way to unsubscribe. You can also ask to be removed at any time by emailing idit@iditmoshe.com, and we will remove you promptly and without asking why.

We got your address from you, directly, when you filled in the form. We do not buy mailing lists and we will never add you to ours because you appeared on someone else's.

We have not started sending these emails yet. When we do, we will use a dedicated email service and will add its name to the table below before the first email goes out.

Who else sees your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. It is shared only with the service providers who make the site work, and only to the extent they need it. On our side, the information is accessible to Idit alone.

WhoWhat forWhere
Cloudflare, Inc.Hosting the website, storing form submissions, counting visits, and protecting the site from attacksUnited States and Cloudflare's global network
Make (Make.com)Moving each new enquiry from the website to the tools belowUnited States
Google (Gmail, Google Sheets)Receiving each enquiry by email and keeping the record of enquiriesUnited States and Google's global network

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to (for example under a court order or a lawful demand from a competent authority), or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Where your information is stored

Our service providers store data outside Israel, mainly in the United States, as set out in the table above.

We rely on your consent to that transfer, given when you send us the form, together with our agreements with each provider, which require them to protect your information to a standard no lower than Israeli law requires and not to pass it on to anyone else. This follows the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001.

How long we keep your information

Enquiries are kept for 24 months from the date you contacted us, and then deleted. If you become a client, your details are kept for as long as we work together and for as long afterwards as Israeli tax and accounting law requires.

Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe we keep the bare minimum (your email address and the fact that you opted out) so we don't accidentally mail you again.

Technical logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider, in line with their standard retention.

How we protect your information

The site is served entirely over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Form submissions are transmitted encrypted and stored in an access-controlled database, and from there in work accounts protected by a password and two-factor authentication. Access is limited to Idit alone.

We apply the security measures required of a database of this kind under the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident occurs that is likely to affect you, we will act as the law requires, including notifying the Privacy Protection Authority and, where required, you.

Your rights

Under Israeli law you have the right to:

  • See what we hold about you (Section 13 of the Privacy Protection Law). We will respond within 30 days.
  • Correct or update it if it is wrong, incomplete, or out of date (Section 14).
  • Ask us to delete it, where we no longer need it or have no lawful basis to keep it.
  • Remove yourself from our mailing list, at any time, by one click or one email.

To exercise any of these, email idit@iditmoshe.com. We may need to confirm who you are first, so that we don't hand your information to someone else.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Privacy Protection Authority.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no third-party script following you between sites, and nothing here needs a cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

We store one thing on your device: your language preference, saved in your browser's local storage under iditmoshe-lang, so that the site opens in the language you last chose. It contains nothing but he or en, it never leaves your device, and it is not used to identify or track you. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings. The visit counting described below stores nothing in your browser at all.

We do count visits ourselves, on this site's own server, so that we know how the site is doing. To tell one visitor from another within a single day, the server makes a code from your IP address and browser type using a secret that changes every day and is then discarded. The code cannot be turned back into your address and cannot recognise you tomorrow; your IP address itself is not stored. Individual records are deleted within seven days and what we keep is totals: which pages were viewed, which site or app the visit came from, country, device type, and which links were tapped. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, your visit is not counted at all.

Links to other websites

The site links to other places on the internet, including skillsboutique.com and the social networks at the foot of the page. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else's website under their privacy policy, not ours. We are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom

If you contact us from the EU or UK, the GDPR may also apply to you.

Our legal basis for replying to your enquiry is our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask to hear from us, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Our legal basis for the mailing list is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Israel holds an adequacy decision from the European Commission, meaning personal data may flow from the EU to Israel without additional safeguards. Alongside the rights listed above, you have the rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children

This site is aimed at working professionals and organizations. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top always shows when it last changed. If we make a change that materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you directly rather than relying on you to notice.
